POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Supply Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply planning activities across the organization to ensure customer demand is met in alignment with company objectives. This role owns the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and provides strategic direction for multi-site planning teams to balance service, inventory investment, capacity, and cost. The Corporate Supply Planning Manager leads the development and execution of mid- to long-term supply plans, establishes inventory targets across the supply network, and drives standardized planning processes. This role partners cross-functionally to identify risks, evaluate tradeoffs, and implement actions that support sustainable operational and financial performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Demonstrate leadership by championing Lozierâ??s Mission, Vision, and Values and living the Lozier Leadership Model.
  • Lead and govern the enterprise SIOP process, integrating demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial inputs to evaluate scenarios, align stakeholders, and approve or recommend required business actions.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to site-level planning teams to ensure development and execution of balanced mid- and long-term supply and demand plans that achieve company goals for customer service, inventory, cost, and profitability.
  • Establish, monitor, and manage finished goods and sub-assembly inventory targets across the supply network, including slow-moving and obsolete inventory and capacity constraint utilization.
  • Develop, manage, and communicate supply planning budgets and forecasts, including inventory investment, inventory turns, and departmental expense budgets.
  • Ensure material requirements planning and supply strategies are aligned with enterprise objectives and long-term business plans.
  • Support resolution of supply execution issues, including unplanned demand changes or supply disruptions, and provide leadership oversight for weekly Tier 4 scheduling reviews.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly performance metrics and alerts; establish controls, corrective actions, and governance to ensure performance remains within approved targets.
  • Set annual and quarterly planning performance objectives and evaluate outcomes against defined KPIs; drive corrective action where gaps exist. Identify, prioritize, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, improve inventory performance, and reduce total supply chain cost.
  • Define, implement, and maintain standardized inventory and supply planning processes, tools, and cadences across all facilities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and executive leadership to enable informed decision-making and alignment.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
  • Ability to work and interact well with others.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Support enterprise planning system enhancements, process standardization efforts, and change management initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic supply chain initiatives and long-range planning activities.
  • Provide leadership coaching and development support to planning leaders and high-potential talent across the organization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or another related field preferred. Master degree is desired.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or other equivalent experience, if degreed. Minimum of 14 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or other equivalent experience, if non-degreed. Previous experience leading Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes in a multi-site manufacturing environment is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook).
  • Enterprise-level supply chain and inventory planning expertise.
  • Strong understanding of SIOP principles and integrated business planning.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence plant leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen related to inventory investment, cost management, and profitability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Plant-level supply planning or scheduling leadership.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven experience managing or leading multiple planning teams or sites.
  • Advanced forecasting and scenario planning experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide process standardization initiatives.
  • ERP and advanced planning systems experience.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.

SPECIAL DEMANDS

  • Periodic travel including overnight stays.
  • Must maintain a valid driverâ??s license.
  • Must demonstrate adaptability and responsiveness to off-schedule requests or emergencies in support of business-critical functions.
  • Ability to navigate in a manufacturing environment, including navigating stairs.
  • May require exposure to production areas, equipment, and noise.
